Who called from 6167731587

call to phone from  616-773-1587 caller ID said "NEXTIVA" on Thursday 06-29-17 at 1143 AM

This scammer must have obtained his 'voip business' phone line through nextiva.
caller with strong hindi or pakistani accent (but better english than most) said he was from windows technical support who had been monitoring and receiving error messages from my computer system.
While sitting in my easy chair far from my computer - I kept this guy on the line for 12 1/2 minutes but when he tried to get me
to go to a site off of my system I decided it was time to give him a lesson in hindi/india expletives.

He just called me also.   I read him a forensic  article about flies reproducing on corpses.     He tried to interrupt, finally gave up.

BTW,  I am also in St Paul.     He knew my first name, so he must be going through a phone book.

I am in St Paul- just got this call, did not pick up- said it was a Sam Anderson on the Id.

Did not pickup.  Left no message.  Thanks a ton for the info.  Now blocked.

By the way, we are also in St Paul and both my husband and I get many calls each week on our cell phones from various numbers, all beginning with 651-253- (the same as our cell phones).  No identification in caller ID, no message left, numbers not repeated, and I've never found a report for any of the numbers on this website or on any other site dealing with questionable callers.

Have either of you two St Paulites experienced this with 651-253-XXXX phone calls?
