They did not call, this is the number and email on my bank statement. I have a $4.50 charge on my BofA account, the web site is 2ndmem.com phone 616-788-257, it's still pending (as of 12/4/2012) but i cancelled my debit card and they are sending a new one.
I don't recall getting a phone call from this number, but I noticed a charge of $5.50 on my credit card (for internet storage space that I don't recall purchasing 3 days ago) and the website was 2ndmem.com and the phone number was 616-788-2057.

On 11/26/12, there wasa hold on my Bank of America account from 2ndmem.com for $4.50. I called BofA and they said they have to wait for it to post before they could remove it. In the meantime, they issued me a new card. Well, the $4.50 posted and it's still there. Why is this only happening to BofA customers? Did BofA get hacked or is it a BofA scam?
I don't think it's just BofA, i'm the only one who listed my bank name, aside from you. I do know that I have to call the bank back when this is done processing so that I can fill out a dispute form to have it removed.
this company does have a website, and an answering machine, I've called three times with no answer and I can hardly understand the guy in the message. This is a theft cover up, many people won't even see they have been charged, and it's a small enough charge most won't care.
At some point in the life of our cards, the numbers were stolen and they are now being used illegally by this 2ndMem.com
Hopefully enough people will notice and they can prosecute him/them
I would suggest for you to call the bank back and let them know you need a dispute form and that you found this site 800notes.com and have seen others with the same issue. I am personally taking a screen shot of both web-sites and I posted a note to my Facebook friends to beware.
I contacted BofA on 11/27/12. As of 12/07/12, the charge is no longer showing up on my account. I have no idea how they got all these card numbers. I did make an online purchase on Amazon.com that same day. I wonder if they got it that way. There must be something that we all did that allowed this "company" to get access to our info.
