This person goes by the name of Charles Nacos, and although this is a Grand Rapids, Michigan phone number, he purports to live in Ft. Collins, CO on Gregory Rd. (Gregorydr is in fact the user name he went by). He is an extremely charming, sweet-talking man (although there were frequent flashes of anger and impatience which should have been warning signs) claiming to have moved to this country (the US) from Italy when he was nine years old. His accent, which to the best of my knowledge does not sound Italian, is much too heavy for him to have grown up and been educated in this country. When I queried as to such, he responded that people seemed to like it and so he just kept it. But for a CEO of a company who claims to have an advanced degree, his spelling and grammar leave much to question. This man claimed to have fallen in love at first site, stating that God told him in his heart that I was the one - which he knew would weigh heavily with me as I am an outspoken believer. He gives as his reason for being on the Christian dating website the testimony of one of his church members who is now in love and happily married as a result of the Christian online dating site. He cited Psalm 50 as his favorite Bible passage, but when asked why, refused to discuss it by saying he would tell me in person when we met. When I pursued further questioning on the matter, he became angry and ended the call. This should have been a red flag but sadly, was not. Over the three month period we were in communication, he promised to visit twice, even allowing me to drop a Summer college course and take a week's vacation from my job, only to not show. Of course my complaints of his behavior were met with frustration on his part, then silence, then apologies. After which he begged for my address numerous times claiming he wanted to send me a surprise. After finally giving in, the "surprise," if course, never arrived, he never explained, and snapped at me if there was any mention. Still, I stupidly gave him a chance, finally ending the "relationship" when he claimed to have travelled back to Malaysia for business (the second time in about a month), and found he could not access his bank account and needed $3000. I, at first, pretended to try to borrow the money for him as I did not have it. When he first spoke of how devastated he was that I would not help him, then grew hateful and nasty, I abandoned my own scheme to get more info from him in order to expose him (I recalled to mind that this person has my home address!) and revealed that I had not been duped by his trickery. If you encounter this person, STEER CLEAR!

WOW, I JUST ABOUT GOT SCAMMED TOO. THIS MAN CONTACTED ME ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO. AND LONG STORY SHORT, ON FRIDAY HE SUPPOSEDLY FLEW TO MALAYSIA. AND TODAY HE ASKED ME TO LEND HIM $3500 BECAUSE HE COULDN'T ACCESS HIS BANK ACCOUNT. I DID A PUBLIC RECORD SEARCH FOR THE ADDRESS HE GAVE ME IN ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA. TURNS OUT THERE IS NO CHARLES NACOS LIVING THERE BUT A COUPLE WHO I CALLED AND THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM. I AM SO GLAD I TRUSTED MY INSTINCTS AS SOON AS HE ASKED ME TO LEND HIM MONEY. HE TOLD ME HE OWNED A SHIPPING COMPANY. I AM HEARING MORE AND MORE OF THESE TYPES OF SCAMS AND HAVE DECIDED TO FORGET ABOUT ONLINE DATING. HIS ACCENT SOUNDS AFRICAN, WHICH COUNTRY I AM NOT SURE OF. BUT YES, STAY CLEAR OF THIS LIAR AND SCAMMER.
I am in shock. This so-called Charles Nacos man woo'd me for months. I was suspect though when within a few DAYS he told me he trusted me. Then the weeks went by, now a few months. And he professed his love for me, how he wanted to take care of me and give me the world. But then he had to make this trip to Malaysia. He got it down pat to time the 21 hour flight and to not call me for almost 24 hours. But we talked on the phone at least 3 times a day. Briefly mind you. He told me he has a 21 year old daughter who lives with his Mom and goes to some kind of design school in Maryland. He used the church to make it seem like he was a good Christian. HA. Then reality hit when he said he couldn't access his bank account in Malaysia. I googled his bank and I am almost certain that he has other conspirators. I think they have hacked into a real off-shore online banking system, or they have overlayed his supposedly info into the website. He insists on you checking his bank account. It just NOT look real and the bank address location was spelled 137 Irvington drive. I told him I worked for a bank and they do NOT make errors like that - accidentally spelling drive with a small d. I met him on an online dating website and I will contact them so they can block him and his scamming M'F'n [***]. M'F'r ... I even bought an airline ticket to go and visit him in September, thank goodness it was only $137 and I can rebook another flight with it ... WOMEN BE SO AWARE OF MEN WHO ARE JUST LOOKING TO TRY AND GET YOUR MONEY. WE NEED TO STAND UNITED AND HELP EACH OTHER SO THIS DOESN'T CONTINUE TO HAPPEN. this so-called man Charles Nacos thing is getting out of hand. I have contact the FBI, as I think this is bigger than we women realize. I sure hope NO unsuspecting woman falls for his scams and I will do everything in my power to make sure of it. This nonsense has got to stop. I have read all the postings and mine is similar.
Boy oh boy, this guy really knows how to smooze a woman. he moves fast, so that should be a good indicator. he tells you he trusts you far too soon for not meeting personally. I met him on an online dating website. He always wants to chat online, which I have never done before. He takes a LONG time to reply to simple questions. I thought he was probably chatting with others at the same time, so I asked, but he said NO and I believed him. But I think he works this scam with others. They probably hover around the computer and come up with the answers. His grammar and spelling are not very good. He says he has been in the country since he was a little boy. His family he says is from Italy. He says his parents are Black, but born in Italy and they can speak Italian. He says his father died when he was 20. He says his mom lives in Maryland and that his 21 year old daughter Renee, lives with her while she attends College there. He will work you for a good month. Then BOOM, he has to go on a business trip - he seems to use Malaysia a lot I see. He is there a few days and all of a sudden can NOT access his bank account and wants you to lend him $3000 - $3500 so he can get the paper work completed on a shipment he went to deliver. He told me he had a warehouse of shipping containers. I was suspicious all the way along. So I played along to see HOW far this guy would go to try and cheat me out of some money. It only took 5 weeks. IF IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - IT IS. WOMEN BEWARE OF THIS GUY. Also I googled the address he gave me in Alexandria, VA and found out it is owned by some really nice folks, who I called and warned of this dude's scheme - using their address for his scam business. Oh yeah, he will give you a user name and password to check his so-called FAKE bank account in the U.K. and it looks like it has lots of money. But don't be fooled this is FAKE!!!!!!
You will be heart-broken to discover there is NO Charles Nacos and he is a FRAUD!!!!! I have contacted the POLICE in his phone number area code.
