See my comment below. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. Look up the real Verizon number on your bill and use that instead: these guys are NOT Verizon and if you give them your credit card number they won't just take the 20 bucks or whatever you think you're paying them.
Michigan, though, is a 2-party state when it comes to phone recording. Unless stated you are being recorded, the recording would be inadmissable in court. Both parties need to know before the conversation starts.
this number called and said they were the police asking if my mother was my sister's mother. they then asked if she was sleeping. she said "Yes, but..." cause she was curious about what was going on.
they said they would call to talk with her tomorrow and hung up. it was very weird. we tried to call it back a few times, but it kept on hanging up on us. what the hell?
