This person from Michigan, after being told that I only sell locally in person, with cash continued to ask questions that were answered on my ad and insisted that he send me a check through mail, and that they would send a shipping agent to collect my ad item. I called him a fraud, and he never argued it. He just said "K", and stopped responding. Plus he texted me at 2 in the morning. Who does that?!

Classified scammer via phone text. Showed interest in item, then sent msg that check would be "In the mail" if I provide full name and address. They would then have their "shipping agent" come for pickup immediately. Number is Grand Rapids Michigan area, I'm in Salt Lake City area with item in local classifieds. That tells you there's a problem right there. Don't do anything but report this number if you are contacted.
I posted an online ad on Utah classifieds website last night and received a text from this number that sounded fishy. I googled the number and saw they were from Michigan and saw the other posts saying it's a scammer. I'm glad I didn't respond to them.
I received a text message from this number asking about purchasing jewelry from me. I own a small jewelry shop in California. They did not leave a name or any other information. It seemed pretty fishy to me so I researched the phone number. It appears to be a scammer with a Michigan-based number. Please beware!
