left a message to call cindy stokes at 855-229-3457 said they were going to go talk to my neighbors,family and friends due to liability and debt also said they would seize assets etc.

Also got the same messag as sue, I didn't return the call, has anyone returned the call?

So is this a scam???

Sounds like it - if you were being sued, you'd have gotten mail from a lawyer's office, and then a visit - unannounced - from the process server.  These callers scare people into paying bogus debt.  Per the FDCPA, no one should pay any caller unless they MAIL - do not accept email or fax - a debt validation letter showing that you owe a debt and that the caller has the legal right to collect said debt.  Refusal to mail the DV letter within five days of their first call is a violation of federal law.  More info here:

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

I've been receiving the same call everyday for a few weeks. I haven't called back. Seemed off to me. I know how collection agency work and this didn't seem legit. So anyone know who to report this to?
