I got a call about an hour ago when I was cleaning I didn't pick up since, I don't answer numbers that are not in my address book or out of state. I will block the number.
we receive several calls EACH WEEK6169802148 The numberis unlisted out of grand rapids , MI. / PROVIDER IS LUCRE. we are on the do not call list . we state we are not interested in whatever they are selling and not interested in answer survey questions.
I got yelled @ when I asked what vehicle they were calling me about, they said I had to tell them what kind of vehicle I have. I knew it was a scam so I told them they called me so they should know what vehicle they are calling about, he h/u on me. Within 10 minutes they called back, I did the same thing & this time a lady was also rude to me. I am so sick of hearing from these people.
Call is about a free trip to Cancun, supposedly offered because you signed up for something at Wal-Mart, Wal-Mart knows about the calls, says they don't know where it is comming from BUT i wouldnt put it past Wal-Mart to have something like this. The call is not FROM Wal-Mart it is from something that was done at a Wal-Mart.
The recorded woman's voice said that I had won a trip to Cancun plus a stay over at Disney World. She didn't even mention Wal-Mart, she mentioned a 'store' that someone had entered my name for a draw and that I won. I hung up before hearing the whole message as obviously it was a scam.
The first clue is that the call is from Michigan. I don't know anyone in Michigan, let alone someone who would enter my name in a draw at a 'store' in Michigan.
