Hi everyone. I just got a call from this health and wellness place in Wyoming,MI for an offer for part-time job. And I was asked to go in for a job over view. I decided to look them up because I was interested, but i couldn't remember the company's name. I just remembered that it was a health and wellness company and they deal with kids. But after researching i found this website and saw all the comments. I don't know if I should go anymore because of all the bad stuff that's been said. But the number that they called me wasn't the same one as everyone else's on this website. Plus, the lady that called me said that she's attending the same college as I am. And she knew my name, but I didn't think to ask her how she got my number. Plus, the address that she gave me is a real address. I mapquest it. I'm so confused. Is this a real company or not? I'm afraid to go. Please tell me what I should do.
Tried to offer me a job in "nutrition and fitness" but was really vague about the details. Seemed very much like a pyramid scheme. Said they received my number from a "reference" but couldn't tell me who.
I got the same call about possible employment at a wellness center. I asked who refered me, they couldn't say. I'm in the US on a dependant's visa, not a work visa - when I explained that she said it didn't matter because it's an "international organization". Very sketchy - ignore a call from this number, and talk to your phone company about how they got your number in the first place.
Professional bloggers do write strange things. I got a call from this number and ACTUALLY WENT INTO the wellness center that they were talking about, unlike everyone else writing on this page, and it was a very informative meeting. I learned about health, and nutrition and it was pretty cool. People should take it as a compliment if they're referred to work someplace, with these hard economic times, who can afford to be picky?
