Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!
I got calls from this # almost daily for over a year.
For those who get this message regularly, try contacting your phone company and asking them to activate "anonymous call rejection". If the Caller ID is blocked and lists as "Anonymous", it will give the scammer a message that they can't call you. You won't have to worry about calls like this again. Comcast, our local carrier, offers this service. You just dial *77 from your ring tone and it automatically activates the rejection service. Other carriers should offer the same service.
If scammers call with a Caller ID, you can activate a feature called "Call Screening" or "Selective Call Rejection". You should be able to add the scammer phone # to your list and block that specific caller.
Got this call today also. Did not pick up. What I have done in the past w/ credit card scammers, seeing as DNC list DOES NOT WORK. I ask them what bank they represent (you will get all kinds of replies). Some answer and some hang up on you. Then I contact my bank and give them hell for giving out my number! Try it!!!!
