When I answered it sounded like a recording at first. But then "Nicole" started to sound like a real conversation. She went into a spiel about a "FREE" ADT system and "FREE" upgrade to land lines. Really? NOTHING is free. When I tried 3 times to interrupt her, she kept right on talking...again like a recording. I hung up on "her". I'm on the "do not call" list. I have been since the moment of its inception. CLEARLY it means NOTHING and no one is doing anything to combat these telemarketers who just ignore it. I can not believe the number of telemarketing calls I get!!
Rang only twice, then stopped. Joe Schmoe above is correct, I believe -- no actual exchange number begins with a 0. In any event, I never answer any calls when the caller ID says "Unknown name," as this one did. (And for the record, all you scammers out there who might be reading this, I've learned never to answer any calls whose caller ID, whatever it might be, I don't recognize.)
When I picked up, there was no one on the other end. After about 10 seconds they hung up. On my caller ID, it did not have a name, but a bunch of numbers (V30423583300000)
