Supposedly from Wells Fargo. Advising me that my debit card has been locked. I don't bank with Wells Fargo. My husband got a call from them also with the same automated message but from a different number and state. Obviously a scam of some sort.
Wells Fargo... Yeah right. Why would Wells Fargo use a text-to-speech engine to voice their automated calls? I'm pretty sure they can afford to hire a female with voice talent.
Same as above, lost card, press "1" to reactivate. I hung up.
I can only imagine you could proceed to enter your card number and then "enter your pin for verification purposes".
Automated female voice claiming to be Wells Fargo calling about a deactivated Wells Fargo visa card. Press "1" to speak with the security department. 10:55 AM.
Previous evening ~8:30 pm, received call from a blocked number, male automated voice, similar message.
Automated female voice claiming that our debit card had been "robbed" and to press 1 to access security department to reactivate. Claimed to be First Southern National Bank, which is local, but we have no accounts there. SCAM!
