Robo-called by a telemarketer. Picked up because it was a local number, heard silence then a click, and then a heavily accented foreign female voice (with lots of call-center-like background noise) asking for someone whose name is not mine. Hung up.
Robo-called by a telemarketer. Picked up because it was a local number, heard silence then a click, and then a heavily accented foreign female voice (with lots of call-center-like background noise) asking for someone whose name is not mine. Hung up.
Scammer. I picked up when they called and not recognizing the number I answer "yeah." I heard the sound of a boiler room type call center in the background and repeated with "who is it?" The caller then hung up.
When I called back I was told that my call was being routed and that I would be transferred to the next available agent. After 30 seconds I was disconnected.
Based upon the above and Caller ID profile, this is an obvious scammer.
