Have been constantly receiving calls from 1-617-224-0861 in Massachusetts. Number listed as Cambridge MA. I believe this is some society trying to get donation money. Pretty annoying that they are constantly calling and not leaving a message if no one answers. Only once out of the dozen or more times they've called, have they identified themselves. If they do reach someone, a typical conversation usually goes as follows:
Caller 1: Is John home?
Caller 2: May I ask who is calling?
Caller 1: Is this John?
Caller 2: No, can I take a message?
Caller 1: No, its okay, we'll call back.
I called this number back 617-224-0861 because the person just hung up in my face when I said hello...wtf..so I called it back and got an automated response from an organ donor organization which actually gave a number to call. I didn't bother...but listen to this...in the 6:00 news it had a thing saying that the RMV was promoting organ donations and that we should donate. I really don't have a problem with that...but hang up in someones face??? GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER MASSACHUSETTS!!!
