This number is used by Capital One. If you recently applied for a CapitalOne credit card they call and ask to verify your account data. It would be nice if they used some meaningful Caller ID though.
I did not respond to this automated phone call. I called Capital One. They said that they had no recore of the calls to me and their fraud-related calls always instruct the customer to call them back. The same message was left on my work phone, which I have not given to Capital one. This is a fraud.
I received the opposite information. I spoke with a customer service rep at Capital One Fraud dept. today and she entered the phone number into a data base to confirm that it was one of their numbers and then told me it was NOT an authorized phone number by Capital ONe.
