When I called again and spoke with the second attendance, she explained that Daniel Law Offices, PC represents CaptialOne to collect a debt in the amount of $5,127.34, including interest from the original amount of $4,908.96 but she was not certain the money was owed by me. She asked for my social security number and date of birth to verify whether or not the money was owed by me. I said I am not going to give her my confidential information. She said, "I can't help you and have a nice day!" and she hung up.

I figured that this law office, Daniel Law Offices, PC was hired by financial and credit card companies to collect debts from people. Their way of looking for people who owe money is to hire people to keep calling whoever's information being provided by the credit card companies. And if they are unsuccessful with the provided information, they will venture out by calling as many others with the same name as they hope they can find the right one that owes money and collect it. And that is how you all and I have gotten many phone calls from this Daniel Law Offices, PC. They are doing this kind of invasive and intrusive work to get paid. My question is "Is it legal for this law firm to keep calling us like this?"
