Got a call today that my husband applied for payday loan. Had all his personal info. Some lady with a very heavy Indian accent. First tried to say was a student loan she was trying to collect on, and then changed it to the payday loan. Threatened to have him arrested and got very flustered when I said prove he took out this loan. Once I figured out it was  a scam, I called them back and threatened to arrest them if they tried it again. Claims to be from the Dept of Crime Prevention.
