Repeated calls from this number, usually in the evening; nobody ever leaves a message; when I try to call back, no answer and no outgoing message. It is *extremely* annoying. I now think this is Harvard University calling for fundraising; they have a series of numbers in this range.
My Mother is being plagued the same way & she's 85 and cannot speak. The numbers are 617 area code - 384-5559, 384-5569, 384-5527, 384-5521- 384-5564. There are more, and it is Harvard fundraising. How can I contact them & tell them to stop?
Caller ID showed this number: 617-384-5569. I didn't answer and no message was left. Since I am a Harvard alumnus the other posts saying it is Harvard fundraising seem correct.
Got a call from x - 5564 and the voice asked for my wife. When I asked who it is, they hung up. This kid of annoying behavoir could make the spouse appear to be cheating. Very bad, very bad.
