the ad features a MA comedian who is calling on behalf of Jeff McCormick, the independent candidate for Gov of MA. Nobody has heard of him so he is starting to annoy people early I guess. It is a really stupid comedy bit that he should lose if he wants to be taken seriously.
Hey Moron, Didn't bother listening to your idiotic message. I wouldn't vote for you when you pull [***] calls like this. Been sick for over a week just got medicated enough to finally get some much needed sleep when your robocall came in. Let me be sure to call your house and wake you up in the middle of the night... oh and I hope your sick too.
I don't mind a call from a candidate trying to win my vote, so long as the call contains reasonable information (for example, is not a push poll or a distortion) and so long as I don't get too many of them. But this had to be the stupidest, corniest campaign call I've ever gotten. I hope that "comedian" didn't quit his day job.
BTW, here are a couple of funny factoids about him:
1. He once financed an independent movie about American Indian lacrosse players. It was chock full of cliches and bombed at the box office.
2. He said he's been engaged in government, but in a recent interview he couldn't name his state rep and state senator.
