Just got a call from them. Same people as Frank above. A pre-recorded message told me to press 1 to talk to someone so I did. That led to more pre-recorded that responded to my responses. I told the robot to me on their do-not-call list which sent to a rep but it was actually a voicemail box, so I left a message asking to be put on their do-not-call list.
The caller ID said Power Growth but the recordings said they were A&M Funding.
Caller ID said "Boston" voice said this was to let me know there would be a business review on my company. I hung up and added the number to "blocked" calls.
My Business Line receives many call of this type - I, purposely, do not answer calls that I don't recognize without checking the internet first. Believe me - it really WORKS - Majority of the calls rec'd are JUNK!! SPAM!! They don't leave call back info. The worst company is Google - They call from everywhere -
Just got a call from this number 617-419-2023 which is an unknown area code to me; the caller ID said "Power Growth In" the message seemed pre-recorded or a robocall as it claimed that my business had an "inspection scheduled from 4-4:30 on Wednesday" (which is today) press one for more info on the inspection. Then the robocaller claimed the business "had participated" in a "national census" in the last 1-3 years and that we accept credit cards. It also claimed a "physical inspection was required" to ensure "that the business was still operation" and compliance but did not specify what regulatory authority or company this call was representing. Then this pre-recorded message/auto voice continued claiming that we were "entitled to a settlement" and I hung up at this point.
Wow - a scary message about inspecting my property - I don't want anyone here I do not know. I pressed one, got a recording and hung up. Thank you for the information above as I had no clue as to what was going on. 800notes.com is the best source to find out crappy calls.
