Received a call from this number, they stated they were "Unified Processing" They were asking for me by my previous married name, so I knew it was probably similar to the scammers that called me a year ago.... same story line. They need to serve me papers regarding a civil matter or I can take care of the matter now.... Funny thing is I haven't used that name for over 9 years, and if there was a civil suit against me I think I would know and it would be in my current name, and the courts would have mailed me paperwork... Anyway... I played along, told them to send the papers, they were shocked.. Then I said I know this is a scam, haven't used that name in over 9 years... they hung up. DO NOT give out your personal information, all they want you to do is confirm your social security number.. DO NOT do it.. Tell them to mail you whatever it is. I'd rather be served with official documents than taken by a scammer.
They called me today stating this is a serious legal matter, so I called them back and got vm and hung up. They used my maiden name too.
Sounds like a scam to me. If it was a legal matters I'm pretty sure I would gotten something in the mail. These ppl need to get a life and stop trying to scam ppl!! Get a job!!
They call my house several times each time i was not home my wife answer she told me sounds a scam , today they just call i got on the phone They caller stating this is a serious legal matter i listen to all she had to say then i let her have it , if this was real fist of all i would get a commends from court served by in person by server or 1 first class and one certified 2 letters from court with an index number and notarized notice to appear to court section and room number date and time , no one can call you to say what she told me on the phone , what they do is telling you to call a different number to find out what is about ,the number area code could be a number from state capital but call may be coming from next block to your house , this is to get you hoped up and scared ,and they will try to get all information they need to clean you out , don’t be surprised if they fined out they already have your name,address, or even your ss: number do not give any info,PLEASE,nothing only thing you tell'm is to go get a legit job and you know that they are crammers.
