"Mark Wilson" (also an India-type accent) from "Docusign". Had a current employee name, that he no doubt grabbed off our website, and said he was in contract negotiations with him for our firm. Spam/Scam/Call Center - file under "G" for garbage...
She had an accent, asked for someone that worked here a long time ago. She said she was from Smart Tech Resources and needed to have verbal confirmation from the employee she was asking about to send an invoice over.
Received a call again from this number asking for the same employee that has not worked for the company in a long time. It was a younger man with a slight accent. When I asked him what the call was in regards to he said he needed to send an important email. I said he could email me and then I could forward it and he said no it's for the ex-employee and he would tell his boss that they no longer work here.
Female with an accent called with "Guide for Customer Service" wanting to give a 3 question survey. I could not for the life of me understand what she was asking and I asked clarifying questions...I've been in a call center before, I try to help out. She eventually got fed up and hung up on me. I tried calling the number back to get on the do not call list, and it's not an active number.
She was nearly impossible to understand, so I have no idea what company she said, kept asking me what ERP I use, to verify my email and address. We are a public entity so I have to confirm those things when the public calls, now I assume I will be nagged via email like i was with the emails.
"Amanda calling from Microsoft" calling our dr's office, when I asked if I could take a message she quickly said she'd try again later and hung up. Seemed really fishy.
