The # belongs to ViaCord. They got my cell # from my OB/GYN and they have called twice a day for 5 days straight now to get me to bank my baby's cord blood. They're not going to give up until I give them a definitive answer so I guess I have about 7 more months of harrassment.
Viacord calls if you have been referred by someone, I was unknowingly referred by a friend, when I called 617-577-0141 a nice receptionist answered, apologized for the call and removed me from the list, she was unaware that people were meing called continuosuly and then being hung up on, as happened to me three time. She said "we have several 800 numbers" so apprarently its a telemarketing service that does the work for Viacord.
