I am incredibly grateful to this site! I received the call yesterday ay 5:38 pm tried to call back was on hold for 30 min before I got a voicemail to leave a message! This morning my dad texted me he got a call at the same time and spoke to someone named " Cheryl" and I needed to call. I received this text just as I hung up after being on hold with them for 30 min again . I am not stupid and understand that there is no such thing as a restraining order in a civil case thsat is a crimminal case also I have been fireclosed on and had a truck repoed and never has that been done over the phone! They showed up at my door ! I am going to file complaints with all the agencies thsat will listen to me! I hopoe they call my brother next he's a cop!
Received a call saying I was named in a restraining order suit . It mentioned my daughter in some capacity . My granddaughter also received a similar call and is very upset. It has to be a scam since this type of contact is always sent by registered mail. How can we trace it down?
I received the same call both on my cell and home phone saying a restraining order has been filed against me. I don't know anyone in Mass. I called back and got music for 1/2 hour. Really scared me. So many people seem to be getting this same type of call,how can we stop them?
