Got a call on my mobile, which is a 617 exchange even though I live in CT. Checked around online, found that this is a spam number: This is what someone at Whitepages has to say:
"When you say hello, the person on the other end will say, "Hi This is Josh. Can you hear me OK?" IF you ask, if you respond in any way, he'll say, "Good , you can hear me and talk so fast." This is the 2nd time I received the call (from my work phone) so I knew to hand up immediately."
7:23am pacific time.. Mannnnnnn F these robo calls. I have elderly family back home in MA, and I've kept my 617 # so non cell having relatives can still call me from their hard wired house lines w/out incurring long distance charges. So when I get calls from 617 & 508, ESP while I'm sleeping, I panic. So tired of this 'ish!! My blocked calls list is a mile long!
Does your phone have a call blocker that can block the entire area code, then whitelist specific numbers within that area code so they can ring through ?
Or can you assign a silent ring tone to the unwanted numbers from those area codes, so they will no longer disturb your sleep ?
Just say NO! NO! NO! This is a SCAM; they want your credit card/debit card number even though you've "won" an all paid for Disney vacation. DON'T FALL FOR IT!
