Didn't recognize the number so I screened the call. The caller held the # button for awhile so that loud annoying sound could be heard on my answering machine. Moron!

Female called and stated Massachusetts mandates furnace inspections and cleanings. She told me I must set up an appointment while they will be in my area. I asked who referred them and when the state started enforcing furnace cleanings. Funny, she hung up. BEWARE!!! This has SCAM written all over it, especially to see this telephone number used differently. It was listed under initials DJP on caller ID.
Female called stating that they would be in the area for home fire and safety inspections, as recommended by the state. Told her to take me off their calling list and she hung up. This is not a requirement for home ownership and smells like either a scam or a way to recommend unneeded "cleaning" services. Caller ID said "DJP" as company name.
DJP called for the 4th time. I answered and was told that I was past my "mandatory" flue inspection and I needed to have it done when they (whomever "they" are) were going to be there. When I asked who "they" were, the phone cackled and the call was disconnected. SPAM
