Same call as everyone else here. Decided at third ring to pick up and just listen/not say a word. "Dead air" of a robodialer on the other end. Suspected spam; came here to confirm.
Starting at about 10:00 today, I've been getting a spam call just about every 60-90 minutes:
10:07A 508-227-4856 "Massachusetts" (Worcester area) [SOLAR SCAM]
11:49A 512-768-9055 :"LAMPASAS, TX" (Credit Card Interest Rate Scam)
12:44P 413-362-3329 "MASSACHUSETTS" (Western half of state to NYS border) [SOLAR SCAM]
02:14P 617-778-7621 "ROVIA, INC." [SOLAR SCAM]
Notice a PATTERN here? Three calls supposedly IN-State - ALL "SOLAR" (as in "Buy Solar Panels Over the Phone from a COMPLETE FOREIGN STRANGER, Site UNseen, UNmeasured, UNevaluated with a CREDIT CARD" PHISHING SCAM, and the other an outright "Give me your credit card number" PHISHING Scam! Likely ALL coming from the same fly-infested sweltering dung-hole in INDIA, SPONSORED, no doubt, by your friendly, greedy FILTHY-RICH US CEO/CORPORATION.
Ironically, Massachusetts has long ago reached its "Metering Buyback" LIMIT, so anyone who invests now, without state subsidies and/or written assurances that the Electric Company HAS to PAY you for the electricity you generate is just getting SCHNOOKERED. The solar company makes $ off of you and you get NOTHING back for your investment. Law in the works to CHANGE that (up the limit) but DOUBTFUL our REPUBLICAN (read OIL BARANS Financed) Governor is likely to sign it.
We got a call from this number today at 4:38 pm, and it was blocked by our call blockers. The callers ID was ROVIA INC. Due to numerous other such calls, our call blocker now blocks all calls from this area code and exchange (617-778-####). I highly recommend such a devices to avoid these nuisances.
