Received a call from this number several days in a row. On the third attempt to contact me, they left a voicemail on behalf of Santander Bank, citing an emergency with my account. When I returned the call a very professional sounding recording asked for my full Social Security number. I hung up and went to the Santander website to call the customer service line they have provided on their official website, and a customer service representative told me that no one had called me and my account was perfectly fine. Definitely a scam. If you are nervous for your account please call the official number or see a bank representative personally.
I get a call from this number almost everyday saying that they are from Santander Bank and that they have an important matter to discuss with me and I should call them back on their 888-876-2704 number and anyone can assist me. First of all, yes I have an account with this bank and second of all I have my own branch that I go to, to get the help that I need. I believe that this is a scam and they are trying to get my personal information. I never pickup and they leave the same voicemail saying the same thing each time.

We get at least 3 to 5 calls PER day from this number claiming to he Santander bank. This is a total fishing scam looking for SSN numbers. How can Santander hebe alerted to this ... we do hold accounts but have checked them and they are all okay.
