This guy was selling a english bulldog puppie, his daughter had just passed away and he can't take care of all the animals so had 12 month old English bulldog then told me he will have this company called Ushippets delivery company ship the puppy to me I thought was a legit company but they to were in on the scam (978)7330427
(617) 858-5921 Calls himself Kelvin Martins and he replied to a craigslist ad of mine that I was looking for a dog to adopt... He refuses to talk to me and it took me five days to finally get a phone number from him,
He gave me this one but says I can only text him- I wrote back that if you can't talk to me on the phone then I don't want anything to do with him, there's way too many scammers out there using craigslist ads as a launching pad for [***] scemes.
This is the phone number of someone involved in puppy scams. The scam is that they place ads on free sites like Craigslist and Oodle that indicate they live locally and have a puppy from some popular breed at an unusually low price. They specify contact by text only. When you express interest, they respond that they are somewhere out of state on a family emergency and don't know when they will return. They have the puppies with them, and are willing to send them for the cost of delivery only, which in my case was $400. I started googling and learned that I would be asked to send money by some means that allows them to remain anonymous and untraceable. Once they have some money, they will probably try to get more. For example, they may say the puppy has an expensive vet bill. In my case, my scammer started out using the phone number 580-825-4981. He gave 617-858-5921 as the phone number of the 'trustworthy' delivery agency when I asked for the phone number to verify their legitimacy, so he either has several prepaid phones, or is in league with others.
I just received a call saying he has a deaf white male boxer for sale ( we had an ad on Hoobly) . He just emailed pictures of a white FEMALE and a fawn male. I'll text back a few times because I like to catch them up in their lies. Glad I looked up the number!!!
