that # called me on 9/15/10 the day after you posted. said he was DEA- special agent Andrew Bagley. Got very abusive. Something about online pharmacies and evidence. Had someone outside my post office box waiting for me to come out, LOL! Didn't let him get farther - hung up.
Caller said he was DEA and wanted information from me....line had static on it; said he would call back....and hung up. I do not think he is DEA, but am reporting his number and the call to the Boston area DEA.....
got a voice mail from someone pretending to be a real dea agent (steven derr, who exists at the dea) and requesting a call back. he uses a real "cop" or "army" type voice. i am considering calling the boston dea to let them know some scammer is impersonating real agents. (though i get a ton of scammers i'm too freaking busy to address them all)
THIS IS A SCAM!! Do NOT be fooled!! They talk a big/scarey game but it is to scare you...told me they were the DEA & I was being prosecuted along with a pharmacutical company. He is posing as an agent who does exist but it not really him. Gave me a name of the Federal Judge presiding on the case & that judge is long retired. DO NOT LET THEM SCARE YOU - YOU ARE NOT IN TROUBLE!! I also called Dade County Courthouse and verified all info I was given was WRONG.
