Received a call 11/13/15 at 8:35 PM from 618-309-4658. Though the name appeared as "Unavailable", I answered. It was a third-party contractor calling for the Belleville News-Democrat. I believe she said she was calling from California. I told her that the Belleville News-Democrat can send me something in writing in the mail.
This caller has called twice and I forgot to block it after the first call. Caller ID states Metropolis, IL. 800notes shows an Alton, IL location. Alton has become a hotbed of spam callers.
Canceled Belleville Newspaper Subscription. This is one of many different numbers calling trying to get my business back. Never answered . Read above comment.
I subscribe to the Belleville News-Democrat so I guess the can call me even though I'm on the Do Not Call List. I guess that I'll just block them and tell a buddy of mine who is a big-wig at the BND that people are complaining.
