This is definitely a scam. When I called the number back and asked who it was, they hung up on me. I called again and was told it was the IRS. I said "No, this isn't the IRS. The IRS doesn't file lawsuits against people". He then got pretty confrontational and told me "Believe whatever you want, but you are being sued." I asked if they could just stop calling me, and he said "I'm not the one calling you. The IRS is calling you. And they won't stop" So, who knows....
Buy a new call blocker. They're cheap. Get one that can block entire area codes. The sub-human Indian Scammers like to rotate the numbers when they know they're blocked. Just block the whole AC for a while.
The Indian Scammers are getting extremely desperate & very foolish. This is evidenced by the caliber of people they're using to try to Scam you. With every passing day the reports of the behavior exhibited by the Indian Scammers are getting more & more disgusting. At this point if you answer the 'phone & you hear an Indian accent, just hang up. They've done it to themselves. The Indians have permitted their own people to become the laughing stock of the world. Their reputation now is that of Conmen & Tele-scammers.
