SPAMMING MY CELL FROM (618) 857-3175 AND OTHER #'S. Some even say "New York" <where I live-shows my specific area code too but it's BOGUS as no such prefix # exists in the State of New York>. I am betting it's the same recording that initially says "Hi. I'm sorry for the brief delay. My headset wasnt on. My name is Julie (or Michael or Susan or Whothefuc Kares....). If u answer the call and say Hello...or any verbal word of your choice- I've humored myself by answering the # thusly "City Morgue" etc... it prompts a voice that seems to be a person but doesnt STFU when you try to interject er go recorded bs spam. I have over 7 #'s related to the exact same spam call blocked. Block all you want...they find you using another #. I CHECK THAT MY NUMBERS ARE UPDATED EVERY 6 MONTHS ON THE FEDERAL AND STATE "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY", I never "agree to TOS" wherein my contact info is shared a 3rd party etc... I checked with my cell carrier (Sprint) and went through my TOS/contract with a fine tooth comb. My "plan" is grandfathered in" and unchanged...no 3rd party sharing, cell # private yadda yadda... The best and sadly only advice I can contribute is to block numbers as they arise, update the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, TRY to call the numbers back bc SOMETIMES you may actually get a human (try hitting zero) and 1. Ask WHO THEY REPRESENT. 2. INFORM THEM your # is on the FCC DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and if they call again you will file legal complaints under FCC privacy violation and harassment subsection codes. 3. They will say it can take 24hours to 6 weeks to stop calls...thats BS. 5. Be sarcastic and tell them you are interested so give u a # that you can call them back as you're busy at the moment making dinner. When the rep starts having u a company # stop em n ask 4 their home number so you can interrupt them during dinner etc...
