Solar telemarketer - told them I am on the do not call list and quickly they hung up

3 calls in a row from these losers. Still unclear as to WHY police cant go after, beat, thrash, arrest, and drop them into the ocean.

Because the number is most likely spoofed by callers outside of the US. And, of course, because beating and thrashing people is known as police brutality and is highly frowned upon.
Perhaps you could use a call blocker.
