we've been getting calls froms this number since thursday July 22nd every day around noon time 10 or more continuosly and is always that beep some times the number changes to 619-330-1896 or 1898 if you try to call back says the number are not on service, does anyone know how to get ridd off this calls? is not only annoying but is interrupting our bussines since is our only line for customers.
Okay everyone! We FINALLY found the answer & it actually WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have any of these 3 numbers calling : 619.330.1898, 619.330.1897, &/or 619.330.1896 then this is what you do. We have had these fax number calling in for a couple of months now, well we forgot to unplug the fax line one day & an add actually printed out. At the bottom was a number to call to have your number removed from their list. The number is: 888.511.8902. They say it will take about 36 hours to remove your number, but it actually worked for us & they have not called back since.....it's been about 2 weeks. The company is a Chrysler Digital Dealer Website that faxes out to all dealerships letting them know what cars are available to sale. They had our number mixed up with Hill Kelley Dodge. Give it a shot! Hope it works for the rest of you!!!!!
This is a number owned by fax.com, I use fax.com to send faxes in my insurance business to my clients. I have my own 800 number from fax.com but recently realized that when I send faxes it goes out through this 619-330-1897 or similar number. It is an outgoing number for hundreds of different companies using fax.com. It could be coming from your local business down the street or a large place like the Dodge dealership. It could be that the person sending the fax mistyped your number when sending the fax, the fax.com system is set up to continue to try to resend the fax until it goes through (rather than an actually person trying to prank call you). We are not told when someone picks up and it can take a day or so to be told it did not go through.
I do not know the best way to get it to stop if someone has dialed your number on accident, but please note it could be any of hundreds of different businesses, and while some of these could be malicious, many are not. (ie the hotel confirmation or dodge dealership).
