I didn't answer b/c I don't answer calls not in my contacts. They left me a message that I would be arrested shortly unless I called them back. They said I have 6 (I think) warrants against me. Haha.
How effective can a telepest be without working phone numbers? No kind of "business" if every number they call lacks any kind of answer. Here's one way they know who to call. Don't expect pests to use working numbers, either, to avoid tracing.
Another robocall from "Rachel" or "Kimberly" or somebody telling me this is my final opportunity to take my final opportunity for refinancing my credit card etc. I played along and pressed "1" but that connected me to dead air.
For these scams to work, they must have close to zero overhead, so even one pigeon in a million calls is a big payout for them.
