Called our home landline in same area code. Unrecognized phone number and Caller-ID "CAMPO CA" -- so didn't answer. No message left on our answer machine. The caller just hung up. Called the number back several minutes later -- no answer but outgoing recorded message says in no foreign accented English that 'if you're calling about a call you got from this number please leave your phone number and a brief message and we'll call you back' .... etcetera. Sound of voices in the background talking on phones during their outgoing message, too. Which was kind of unexpected since that din of voices talking on phones in the background is a HUGE TELL. Obviously, a spoofed Caller-ID call, and obviously a caller from some type of phone boiler-room.
