Just received a nuisance call from some scam called "Opteum Serv L." Have no idea what "Opteum Serv L" is selling, but 99.999999 percent sure it is nothing we need. NUMBER BLOCKED!!!
Came home to no message left from this number and caller ID of "OPTEUM SERV." We owe no debts whatsoever if it is a debt collection outfit. If it's Opteum Financial Service calling, didn't that go out of business years ago? Whoever is calling it has nothing to do with me and number is now blocked.
Earlier in the day, I received an email for Opteum Services. I looked them up on the internet and learned that they have a bond revoked by the State of California in 2009. Recent yelp posts in Temecula and San Diego state that this company is excellent, regarding helping them out of financial problems. Shortly after I clicked on this Opteum Services email site, I received a phone call from 619-610-0046, a Lisa Stone identified herself as representing Performant. She wanted my sons address and telephone number. I asked her why she wanted it. She asked me if he was working and still self-employed. I rudely retorted that she most likely has all the information she needs. I find it extremely odd that this telephone number is identified with both Opteum and Performant. I consider it an invasion of my privacy (email and telephone number while representing 2 separate supposedly legitimate companies). This number will be reported to the FTC and my lines accordingly monitored. Especially since I have had similar calls in the past.
