I just spoke with someone with an Indian accent. Really couldn't understand him and I pointed out that his number is captured on websites as a spam. He was unfazed by that. Selling marketing services but his diction was so poor, meaning he spoke quickly and didn't pronounce words fully that I really couldn't understand him.
I have been getting calls, several times a day, from this number for about six months or more. What I don't understand is why they call and then hang up after one ring (I don't get a chance to answer the call). They aren't the only telemarketer that does this. I now have three numbers which call me a few times a day, every day, but don't stay on the line long enough for me to answer.
I get several calls a day asking for various names. They immediately hang up - regardles of the way I answer: not in, may I leave a message, no longer with our company, I am that name - how may I help you, nothing. They seem to be a call center that cannot even cover the basics, except for annoying everyone.
Indian guy with such a thick accent I had to have him spell every word twice before I understood what he was asking. He wanted to give my boss a presentation on IT services in India. Yeah right. Auto route to the rescue from here on out!
Have received six calls from this number in the last couple days. They tend to come in waves. I'll be pestered by them for a few days and then months will go by before they try again. Caller ID says La Mesa Ca.
