CID says "Private Caller". Internet search shows "Sempra Energy" uses that number. Their number was likely faked by scammer to look like a legitimate call.
Received 4-5 calls. Called no. to see what I got. Sempra Energy operator for Corporate. She said SDGE is investigating. I answered call today, entered '1' put on hold for a long time. Woman answered and stumbled a bit through the intro. I asked what company she worked for and she said 'West Coast Leads'. She started to inquire as to my energy use and I did not answer. I told her that she was calling using Sempra Energy number and she did not know what Sempra was. I asked how her company worked and she said they prequalified consumer, then sent qualified names to Zing Solar. I then said this scam was being investigated and she should ask a few questions about the company she works for. She said she would put me on the do not call list.
