This psycho has called my phone at least 150 times in the last 4 months, day or night the times vary from 1:00 pm to 10:30pm. She often calls several times in a 15 minute span. One day she called me every 5 minutes for an hour. I answered the call the very first time. She is some sort of finance company. I asked her to loose my number and take me off her call list. The next time she called I answered. It was a recording. At the end of the recording was a list of options, one of which was press a number to be taken off the call list. I entered the number. I answered the next tine too and entered the option to take my number off her call list again, to no avail. Since then I have been harassed by this psycho every day except weekends. I have left messages on the city council web site for the town that the calls are originating from. I have called the police department in that town. To no avail. The calls just keep coming and coming and never stop. This is becoming disturbing And I am getting worried that she is a lunatic with an agenda. I don't know how to stop the calls short of sueing her for harassment, which is probably what I will have to do if I want the calls to stop. I'd like to see this idiot locked up but she would probably still call me from the loony bin.
Call blocker might be of some help. Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd. Or where there is no caller ID. Never press the "in order to be removed" buttons. That just tells them they have a live person on the other end of the line.
