Got this call on my cell phone. Didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. I don't know anyone from Wichita Kansas so I'm assuming it's a sales call, which I'm starting to get it daily on my cell.

I just got a call from this number (620-356-2329) on my work line (which I have only given out to my parents, as I just started here just shy of 3 months ago). I actually answered and was greeted by a prerecorded message speaking about how they are contacting me for the second time (where was my first contact???) about my vehicle warranty and that if I didn't speak to them that my vehicle warranty would expire/be voided/something (I don't recall the exact words that were used). I was then given the option of hitting “2” to have my number removed from their alerts/notification list or “1” to speak to a representative. At that point I hung up (but in retrospect wish I had spoken to someone just for fun). This is an obvious scam due to the fact that I live in Ohio and the number appears to originate from Kansas (roughly 1,000 miles away). My vehicle is a 2006 model year (purchased brand new at a Toyota dealership), currently under an extended warranty (9 years/90,000 miles), was purchased here in Ohio, and currently has just over 33,000 miles. I highly doubt that there are ANY problems with my vehicle’s warranty.
