Hangs up..no message, tried calling it back and says the number is disconnected or some crap...so in turn it seems as though perhaps our cell phone companies may have a thief?? I think i'll wait it out and see if another call comes through if so i shall ask who they obtained my numbers from. I did that to the last scam warranty company and they never called again b/c i told them i was going to find out and sue them and who ever sold the numbers to the rip off artists. They would be sued professionally and personally. LOL. They didn't like that.. and the number was removed right away I guess. Sometimes we have to be a [***] to get ahead.
i also received a call on my nj cell phone from this number. I happen to be in nyc and received the call at 12:30 pm today. I googled the number and this is where i found out I am one of many getting called. how do we stop this?
I'm in Chino, CA. I got the call too. I immediately thought it was a scam, and asked them what kind of vehicle I have. They said they didn't have that information. They asked the mileage, and as I tried to figure it out, they said they needed to know, and hung up on me.
