These idiots called me at 1026 hours & I simply pushed the button to end call then turned off my cell phone for awhile. Why can't these losers be stopped & jailed? I am DO NOT CALL list. These pieces of trash who keep calling need to be arrested alone for harassment. Enough of these losers & to those who are working with this trash in scamming, get yourselves a job that's more honorable at McDonald's or Wendy's & by the way, STAY AWAY FROM MY PHONE NUMBER!!!!!!!!
620-504-7452 This is a scam. I got a call on my cell phone from Jenny with CMA qualifications Verifications Dept. about lowering my CC interest rate. I played along for a few minutes because it didn't sound like another debt consolidation loan offer. I should have hung up at "This is your last offer" from a phone # I'd never seen before. (Now it's added to my phone's Reject List.) Unfortunately, I even gave them the last 4 of my SS#, but stopped before giving them the CC account #s to verify. I told her that I wanted to verify her Company info 1st before I released that info. She asked what I wanted to know. She gave me only her name and so-called company name, but said they don't have a Web presence "because not everyone qualifies." Also no phone # that I can call back to because "this is outbound calls only". When I asked for some other verification, SUCH AS THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, she hung up.
My local news did a story last night about fraudulent emails. NEVER click on a link that claims to be from your financial institution - type it in directly, and never even from a friend if a link is the only thing in the email. They've probably been hacked or have a virus looking for other victims.
Beware of links that end in something other than, .com, .org, .net, .edu, or .gov could indicate they're from outside the U.S. (.es, .uk, .au) *Read more at http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=27548385#hMAsH5MmIKXuzPID.99
They called, a recording said it was my last chance to lower my cc interest rate. I pushed 1. A woman answered and said "customer service." I asked "what organization is this?" She hung up.
