This number called twice last evening.  I too had a message that had nothing, just a hang up.  I am assuming that this is a telemarketer.  the problem is that you can't block numbers out of the country.  Any calls within Canada, from telemarketers, you can put yourself on a do-not-call list.  I have traced some to Israel.
