Medicare Scam call.
Recording pretending to be from Medicare says there is a new pain med that
Medicare will cover at no charge. I pressed 1 to see if it was another call
center in India, but the guy actually sounded American. I told him he was
breaking the law by calling someone on the do not call list with a sales call.
He said it was not a sales call, but I got mad and interrupted him, and told him to
get a real job a and quit calling me.
After a couple of minutes, when I was about to fill out a do not call complaint
on these criminals, I decided to check the number. I called it back, using *67
[not that it even works on these kind of calls..] and got a recording in what
sounded like a Scottish accent saying "Your call cannot be completed as
dialed.
It doesn't matter if they are trying to get me to pay for some snake oil, or are
trying to get me to get Medicare to pay for it, it is still a sales call, still unwanted
and STILL ILLEGAL!!!
