I called 623-201-4170 and a recording answered identifying it as Career Advisors.
The recording does give a prompt to enter your number to be added to thier do not call list.
This is a different # for the same creepy scam, I've received, in a month-ish. They say, "Hi I'm calling from a staffing company, I came across your name on a local career site & want to tell you this line is being recorded; how are you today? That's great! I'm calling from College Direct...."
That's when I hung up & put the #, along w/ it's brother: (623) 227-2419, who called me before. I called it back on mute/speaker, & instead of ringing, a recorded female voice said over & over, at random intervals for 1 minute: "Can you hear me?" I called back again, still muted/on speaker & this time it rang, & said it was from Career Advisors, responding to a job application I made on their site (BS - I've made no such thing). First offered prompt was to add my phone# to their "Do Not Call Registry," which I did.
