I have a rule to never answer a call if I don't recognize the number. It goes to voicemail. Even then, I will never use the number the caller provides on the message (unless I totally recognize it). But I'm waiting to hear back from potential employers, so ...I picked up this call just now. Whoever it was, hung up on me, but I just wanted to remind everyone here of my usual suggestion, above. Also, if you happen to pick up, and there's a recording "to opt out, press x" just hang up! Pressing any number is what ScamMers want you to do. Or if they say, "Can you hear me?" Don't say yes, because the scammer is wanting to record you saying "yes" ...So then they'll say you agreed to x, y and z and use your recording of agreement. Awful that we have to waste our time with these slimy crooks. But be sure to pass along tips to others. Good luck!
The company behind this number is Gravitate to Green in Tempe, AZ 480-865-2600 is the company phone number. I filed a complaint with the FEDS. On the phone the company told me they have the right to call me anytime and as frequently as they wish.
