Male caller with East Indian accent said the Mounties would be at my door within the hour to arrest me and put me in jail for 48 hours. Wanted me to go to Walmart and buy $800 worth of Steam or iTunes gift cards to pay Revenue Canada, then they would call off the Mounties. I replied with several unladylike comments and hung up. Within minutes I got another call from a fake Mountie (from a different phone number) saying they were coming to arrest me. He asked where I was, I said at Walmart - told him to come get me and the $800 worth of iTunes cards. Both male callers had East Indian accents. They never called back. No, I didn't buy any gift cards from Walmart.
Front portion of "scam" script cut off. Therefore all that was stated is "an arrest warrant is being drawn up on me" and, " I need to call them back right away...." Pretty lame as the "bot" never said my name.
