We have an unlisted number, and are on the National Registry of Do Not Call numbers, yet I have received two calls in two days from this number. They say just to tell them not to call back, but they call when no one is home, and do not leave a message, requiring us to have to do the research in order to make sure the calls were not from someone we did want to hear from, or might have given our number out to. Why should I have to do more than what I have already done, to prevent getting calls I did not authorize to begin with?

Got two calls today (Tuesday 2012-08-07). Both numbers are new to the list of constant calls I've been getting lately:

I suspect these are part of the same scam organization that has been calling me constantly from a variety of numbers for over four months now, more detail and numbers in my posts here:
If you are so annoyed by these calls, simply pick up the phone and request to be taken of off their call lists. However if you would like to learn about legitimate funding to lower your utility bills using both utility company rebates and tax credits made possible through the American Recovery and Reinvestment act. This is far from a scam; it is a way for you to redirect your tax dollars back into your pockets to make your home more energy efficient.

Hey Rick, if you're not a scam, why don't you have a proper caller ID name on your number? Why do you keep repeatedly calling people like scammers do? You called me 3 times in 2 days. Stop doing that. I don't care if your stuff is a scam or not, that many calls is harassment. Knock it off.
