Got a call today from what looked like a valid local number so I did answer, even though I usually can tell it's a scam and I had answered against my better judgement. The local number the kid used was 505-219-0700. I was courteous, so that I could rope him in and get information out of him. He said he was from Reliant Capital, something about indoor and outdoor stuff... I got his company's main number, 623-388-8899. I then lectured the boy about the illegality of violating DNC, and the illegality of using a random-dial machine, which is what he said was "dialing for him." When I called 623-388-8899 the guy who claimed to be the supervisor hung up on me! When I tried calling the local 505 area code number that had been in my CID, it was not a working number. So these guys are scammers, or at the very least disreputable, with a lot of open complaints against them, spoofed numbers which a reputable company would not do, who use dishonest tactics including spoofed numbers without the company's name on Caller ID, and random dial machines... unless, of course, they don't even have a random-dial machine and are using a hacker's or scammer's phone list. I'll be calling the local AG's office just to add my name to their complaint list, next week. Suspect they've already heard of this company. Already put in a complaint with DNC, which I haven't called since last year, but these guys are really sneaky scammers and it needs to be documented. Doubt DNC will do anything unless there are thousands of complaints, but reported them anyway. Don't answer either phone number!
Received a call from Darnell at Reliant. He immediately stated they sell windows and doors. I told him that
we were on the Do Not Call list and he kept right on talking. He told me that he was not trying to sell me anything, I said you are trying to sell me windows, he got upset and said they sold doors. I asked to speak to his Supervisor and to be removed from their call list. He totally ignored me and started his pitch. I said again
that I wanted to speak to his Supervisor and I wanted them to send me a copy of their Do Not Call Policy.
He totally ignored me. I filed a complaint with the FCC on these guys. If they continue to call I will have
recourse to sue them and sue them I shall. I have filed several suits and have won all 5 of them.

I actually had a similar call from this company awhile back. I too am on the DNC List. I stated this to the person calling me, So I decided to stay with the caller of course to gain further info for reporting purposes. As the caller continued it became interesting as to the type of work they do. Long story short,. . . . My wife and I are in our late 60's and live in Sun City, AZ. and had thought about replacing our windows awhile back but never got around to calling anyone. So we had Reliant Capitol out, yes we read negative reviews remarks etc. but went forward with the presentation. We loved the person who came out we loved the window we loved the price and bought. Install was fantastic and the windows are working beautifully with summer heat that has just joined us! give them a shot, we worth it! Regards, Jim.
